Life: I'm feeling good

It's the first day of spring. I have the next six work days off. My Drake Bulldogs are playing in the NCAA tournament tomorrow. I'm leaving for a week-long vacation on Saturday.

Yes. I'm feeling good.

It doesn't even matter that my husband is annoyed that I didn't finish the laundry while he was on a business trip last night. It doesn't even matter that we have a winter storm warning in effect for tomorrow predicting 6-9 inches of heavy, wet snow.

Nope. I'm in a good mood.

I sometimes ask my wife if she needs help with the laundry. She always says no. I don't get it because I was a student for lots of years and did my own laundry then. I assume I'm still laundry-competent now.

Maybe it has to do with the way I ball the clothes up before I put them away.

BTW, I think we'd all get a lot more done in our daily lives if it weren't for entrecard...

  2. There are some chores that are meditative and you don't mind doing them alone. But it's still nice to be asked every once in a while. I'm sure she appreciates that.

OMG yes about the EntreCard statement. I have absolutely no idea how people drop 300 or more cards a day. I have enough trouble dropping 100.

  3. We are only suppose to get about 3 inches of snow here south of Chicago.

As for Entrecard, I can't seem to drop that many. I find one and end up reading and reading.
