Grape Vine in Autumn

To see this photo in a larger size, click here.

When I was walking around the park last week, trying to find a photo for Skywatch Friday, I found a trellis of grape vine growing in the park. The sunlight was coming through the vines, and the leaves on the vine were in various stages of changing their color from green to red.

I'm participating in the Thursday Challenge today with the theme "Autumn".

  2. Sooooo pretty! I love the contrast too, with light only exposing one side. Could use this photo for a metaphor for lightness and darkness, crossing the dark side.. or something... :-)

    Very nice!

  4. Thanks for your nice comments everyone.

I don't think I'd consciously noticed the contrast between the two sides. The light coming through the one side, yes, but the contrast between the two sides, no. It's nice to have other help put into words what I like about a photo.
