V is for Vertigo

To see this photo in a larger size, click here.

If I stare at this photo too much, especially at a larger size where I can see more detail, I get a sense of vertigo.

I took this photo a few years ago from the observation deck of the "Eiffel Tower" at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. It's a long way down, isn't it?

I'm participating in ABC Wednesday today with the letter V.

  5. LOL I only get vertigo if I'm at the actual place and don't feel secure. I tend not to get freaked out by heights, but I'm freaked out by uncertainty.

    Great shot though Hales :)

  9. Wow - yes, that works for me, too! I think it's because you've captured part of the top of the structure at the bottom of the photo. Gives one a sense of 'being there'!

  10. Oh wow! I don't even know how you managed to take that! It's a great photo, but looking at it is decidedly vertiginous.
    Thank you - ABC Team.

  11. I've been up there once, but wasn't brave enough like you to look down. The Strip look so different from that view.

Thanks for your recent comment on my "Window Shopping" post.
