Red-hot glare

To see this photo in a larger size, click here.

My jack-o-lantern glows red shortly after I finished carving him this weekend.

When I was picking out my pumpkin at the store, I fell in love with this wonderfully scarred and pimply pumpkin, and felt I had to give it an appropriately evil face. Did I succeed?

You can see the texture of his scars coming through his skin, and I love that about him.

  7. That is one scary looking pumpkin. I love that you didn't pick a 'perfect' pumpkin. Makes for a much more scary jack-o-lantern. Or is it called a jack-o-pumpkin?

  8. Thanks everyone for the nice comments~

    @Greyscale Territority -- I love the glow, too. When we turned out the lights for the first time, I think we all did a collective "oh!" when we saw how striking it was.

    @fragileheart -- The perfect pumpkins just weren't speaking to me this time. A jack-o-pumpkin? Now you're just making up words. :P

    @Dianne -- Thanks.

    @Shinade -- Thanks. And Ruby Tuesday is a fun meme. It forces me to look at photo opportunities in a slightly different way.
